HighResMIP2

HighResMIP2 is a planned follow-on from CMIP6 HighResMIP. We propose to start a conversation about what this might look like, who would like to be involved in the planning and execution, and who it might serve, in early 2021.

People who expressed an interest in joining a meeting (27/28 May 2021) to discuss initial HighResMIP2 planning are shown in this document. We held 2 initial meetings to cater for time zones on 27/28 May 2021, and notes from those meetings are available here, with the agenda, some slides and the names of volunteers happy to help organise HighResMIP2 here.

There is also a short survey we are conducting to get some idea of how useful HighResMIP was, and what might be improved. If you have a few moments to fill it in that would be much appreciated. The excel sheet with the full responses is available here.
